Dr. Lahita is a renowned physician, professor and researcher in the field of Autoimmunity and Rheumatology.

As an expert on autoimmune diseases and their relation to sex hormones, genetics and environmental factors, Dr. Lahita has authored more than 16 books and 150 scientific publications – including five books for patients, their families and the general public: Lupus, Q&A: Everything You Need to Know; The Arthritis Solution; Rheumatoid Arthritis: Everything You Need to Know; Women and Autoimmune Disease: The Mysterious Way the Body Betrays Itself; and Immunity Strong: Boost Your Natural Healing Power and Live to 100.
